Somewhere someone is crying Lord;
With tears running down their face.
Somewhere someone is hurting Lord,
And their world is a cold, lonely place.
I pray that you would comfort them,
Embrace them and dry their tears.
Give them strength to carry on
And take away their fears.
Somewhere someone is crying Lord;
And that person needs to know,
That even though they feel lonely,
You’ve never left them all alone.
Help them get through today,
And do the things that must be done,
Help them to be comforted
By the grace and power of Your Son.
