Happy Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day!  Hope you have a great day and as we honor dads on this day, let us remember that God’s word says in Psalms 127:3-4

Psalm 127:3 “Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. 4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth.”

Dads may we always be thankful and appreciative for these gifts God has bestowed upon us.  May we always be mindful of the stewardship that has been given to us.  Just as an archer has a great responsibility for the arrows placed in his care so too do we have a great responsibility.  We are to send out our children with purpose and direction.  We should seek out and recover those that have missed the mark so that they do not fall into the enemy’s hands.  We must treat our children like the gifts and treasures from the Most High God that they are.  Happy Father’s Days – yes, plural…Happy Father’s Days – may they be blessed with the strength, wisdom, purpose, discernment and grace that only God provides so that you can be a good steward of your gifts and blessings.

About pastorpstephens

I have been blessed to have served as a pastor, a chaplain and to have been involved in other ministries throughout the years. My wife Marta and I have been blessed with a wonderful family that includes our daughter, her husband and their two daughters and our son and his wife and their son. Each of them are very special to us so please keep them all in your prayers. One truth that I always try to share with people I meet is that anything God asks you to do, He will help you to do. God has your back.
