Today we stop to share our thanks
For your service to our land,
You gladly put on the uniform,
Took your oath and took a stand.
We are grateful for your courage,
You, who chose to sacrifice and give,
It is because of the heroes among us
That Old Glory still flies and our freedoms still live,
So today we say thank you,
And, because these simple words are not enough,
We pray you will have health and happiness
And a life full of peace and love.
