Love One Another

We took the dogs for a walk the other day and Lauren and the girls went with us.  I love going walking with Marta and the girls.  It provides a good opportunity to visit and just be together.  I took this picture of the girls holding hands while they walked with us.  I love the love they show for one another and for others.  Seeing the girls holding hands, walking and talking together reminded me of what the Apostle John said in 1 John 4:19

1 John 4:19 We love, because He first loved us. 20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also.

It is good to demonstrate our love and care for others.  It is a reflection of the love of God which has been placed in our hearts.  I hope you know how much God loves you.  He loves you so much He sent His Son to be your Savior.  Oh how I hope you have experienced that love.  And I hope you show and reflect that love to others.

About pastorpstephens

I have been blessed to have served as a pastor, a chaplain and to have been involved in other ministries throughout the years. My wife Marta and I have been blessed with a wonderful family that includes our daughter, her husband and their two daughters and our son and his wife and their son. Each of them are very special to us so please keep them all in your prayers. One truth that I always try to share with people I meet is that anything God asks you to do, He will help you to do. God has your back.
