Praying For Others

I have various friends who are going through some difficult times right now. They could use some extra prayers. I know that when I have experienced tough seasons and difficult times, I have been strengthened by the prayers and kind words from my friends. In Ephesians chapter 6 as Paul closes out his teaching on spiritual warfare and “putting on the armor of God” he exhorts believers to pray for one another. In Ephesians 6:18 he says, “Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.” Paul knows that God hears and responds to our prayers. Paul knows that prayer can strengthen and encourage others. Paul knows that prayers lifted up to God make a difference. I know this too and I ask you to pray for my friends.

About pastorpstephens

I have been blessed to have served as a pastor, a chaplain and to have been involved in other ministries throughout the years. My wife Marta and I have been blessed with a wonderful family that includes our daughter, her husband and their two daughters and our son and his wife and their son. Each of them are very special to us so please keep them all in your prayers. One truth that I always try to share with people I meet is that anything God asks you to do, He will help you to do. God has your back.

Pray for me, had 3 fussions July 12…pain is awful

    • Good morning Kathy, sorry to hear that you are in pain. I will keep you in my prayers. I know that the first few weeks can be particularly tough. Please keep your doctor informed on how you are feeling and what you are experiencing. It should become easier and easier each week. Again, I will keep you in my prayers.

May God bless you and those you love,
      Pastor Phillip
